A very special Barrett Jackson Reno

Welcome everyone to my very first ever BLOG!

Basically I got bored of updating my website and no one visiting it - AND FB and Instagram are so much more fun - that this seems to be a WAY cooler method of communicating my adventures!

So here goes:

This past weekend was the inaugural Barrett Jackson from Reno and Hot August Nights - what a crazy and fun week of cool cars and cooler people!

We kicked it off with a huge shoot at the Hall of Fame bowling lanes - I was a team coach and sucked! But we all looked kind of retro and bawlin' bowlers in our new FS1 bowling shirts.  Disregard my most excellent ball placement.....

Steve Magnante (god of all things muscle cars) had a funny skit to do which involved some of his personal effects from home. Rather disturbingly this Justin Bieber cushion was included in those and so I hijacked it....equally disturbing.

Not long after Steve started hawking his new book. Which is pretty interesting, if you have 1001 moments to spare. But look out for it as he is the master of Muscle (in a non Venice-beach way) as you will learn something. What I not know. But Something.

Some reason a photo of me in front of the Saturday auction cars.

A great moment when Elvis yelled my name out. Who knew; dead all these years but alive and kicking it as a B-Jackson and JB fan in Reno.

Most of us would throw this up on the spot  - but believe it or not I saw people eating these.....yup

As co-host of the Speed Social Garage it is my job to interview celeb guests, especially if they are playmates.... AND in the new Snake and Mongoose movie! Thanks Miss Nikki Leigh.

Meanwhile I busted our tech team while my slightly popular co-host April Rose was getting fitted for her Audio gear....lol

Just cool shots from Hot August Nights

Mr Cool himself. Don Prudhomme with co stars at the Premiere in Reno for Snake and Mongoose!

It was also a bitter sweet event - the final ever Barrett Jackson broadcast on Speed after a 17 year run! But the future on Fox Sports 1 looks pretty bright...as long as I have a job!

OK next stop - Monterey Historics and Pebble Beach!
